Welcome to The Surgery Center of Idaho

Located on the campus of Idaho Urologic Institute in Meridian, Surgery Center of Idaho is a physician-owned, fully-accredited, multispecialty, ambulatory surgery center (ASC). As an ASC, we provide outpatient surgical care for men, women, and children.

SCI provides a friendly, convenient, state-of-the-art environment with expert surgeons and staff dedicated to providing quality care with positive outcomes. Our surgical services include Urology, Ophthalmology and Plastic Surgery.

Anesthesia services at SCI are provided by Anesthesiology Consultants of Idaho, a group of 11 physicians, board certified in Anesthesiology.

As an ASC, most services provided are billed at a significantly lower rate than hospital-based outpatient departments, leading to less out-of-pocket costs for our patients. Other benefits of using our facility include fewer surgical delays, convenient location, and onsite parking.

Surgery Center of Idaho is compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act regulations.

Patients with Blue Cross Medicare Advantage or United Healthcare plans:

  • A referral from your Primary Care Clinician (PCC) is required for specialty clinic visits.
  • A separate referral from your PCC is needed if surgery is required.
