Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Part-time medical assistant or certified nursing assistant to assist with cystoscopy procedures. This position assists in the assessment of patient needs by taking vital signs and patient history; prepares equipment and assists physicians with cystoscopy procedures; completes necessary documentation using the EMR; ensures compliance necessary for certification and accreditation by local, state and federal regulatory agencies; handles multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced work environment.
This is a part-time position with no weekend work. Hours will vary to insure the needs of our patients are met although will generally be Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
RN Circulator – Operating Room (OR)
As a RN in the operating room, you will have the opportunity to apply sound judgment, clinical expertise, and execute critical nursing interventions to all populations within the patient care setting. This is a full-time position. The RN circulator generally works four days per week up to 10 hours per day. No weekend or evening work.
We have an opportunity for a part-time Scribe to work closely with physicians and other health care providers to supply real time EMR charting of physician and patient encounters, labs, x-rays and other evaluations. This is a part-time position working up to 24 hours per week. No weekend or evening work.
The PACU RN provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the SCI mission statement; to provide excellent, individualized care with a focus on compassion, and cutting-edge technology. The RN serves as a patient advocate and is responsible for coordinating the post-operative process. The RN may assist with planning and implementing patient care per SCI policy and standards. This is a full-time position with no weekend or on call hours.
