Dawn K. King

Dr. Dawn King is a native of Montana. She received her undergraduate degree at Montana State University and earned her medical degree at the University of New Mexico. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Utah. She is a founding member of the Idaho Urologic Institute and the Surgery Center of Idaho.

Dr. King specializes in the treatment of male and female incontinence, kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, BPH, UTI, overactive bladder and bladder cancer. Dr. King’s surgical practice includes vasectomies, slings for urinary incontinence, sacral nerve stimulation for incontinence (InterStim), urodynamics, ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for stones, circumcision, and BPH surgery.

Dr. King is married to an orthopedic surgeon and they have 2 children. She enjoys outdoors activities such as running, skiing, biking, rafting, boating and camping. Her other interests include playing the piano and singing.

Dr. King is a member of the American Urological Association, the Idaho Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Ada County Medical Society, and is a lifetime member of the Society of Women in Urology. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Urology.

Dr. King has medical privileges at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Centers, Boise and Nampa; St. Luke’s Regional Medical Centers, Boise and Meridian; Boise VA Medical Center; Vibra Hospital; West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell; and Treasure Valley Hospital.
