John Jarrell

John Jarrel, M.D.Dr. Jarrell is a board certified Plastic Surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, with the recognition of Summa Cum Laude. He earned his medical degree and served his general surgery residency and fellowship for burn surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis—home to one of the busiest level one-trauma centers in the southeast. He served his plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga, completing various research publications in breast reconstruction.

He performs cosmetic surgery of the breast, body and face. His special interests include aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the breast and all aspects of body contouring. He also provides a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures throughout the body including but not limited to breast (augmentation, lift, reduction and breast cancer reconstruction), body (tummy tuck and liposuction as well as post weight loss body contouring procedures) and facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Jarrell’s background in reconstructive surgery gives him the strongest foundation possible for solving various cosmetic surgical challenges.

He is board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. In addition to being a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Jarrell is currently on staff at the following hospitals: St. Alphonsus Medical Center Boise, St. Alphonsus-Nampa, St. Luke’s Boise, St. Luke’s Meridian, Treasure Valley Hospital and West Valley Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Jarrell enjoys hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, snow skiing and spending time with his family in the Idaho mountains. Dr. Jarrell is married to his wife, Minerva, and keeps busy with his two children, Gaby and Johnny, and, of course, his dog, Smokey.

Patrick Cole

Dr. Patrick Cole is Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction after cancer, and traumatic injury reconstruction. Dr. Cole is also a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon, specializing in complex hand surgery and endoscopic procedures. He received General Surgery training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and completed Plastic Surgery residency at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center. Immediately following his plastic surgery training, Dr. Cole completed Baylor College of Medicine’s Orthopedic Hand Surgery Fellowship, where he further refined his skills at endoscopic surgery, microsurgery and complex upper extremity reconstruction. Dr. Cole is now a published author of over 220 scientific articles, 25 book chapters and 20 plastic surgery training videos.

In addition to his extensive surgical training, Dr. Cole also manages a happy home life with his wife Allie and their three young children. As an enthusiastic outdoorsman, avid skier, and hiker, Dr. Cole is excited to experience Idaho and to use his surgical skills to help the amazing people of Treasure Valley.
